I finished Matthew's door plate tonight. I'm really pleased with it, and Matthew thinks it's wonderful. I didn't follow a pattern for the lettering... you can probably tell, lol. Each of the letters in Matthew's name is with a different variegated thread from DMC, and the Room letters are from a variegated Anchor thread, number unknown though sorry. Matthew also wanted "Shh, I may be sleeping" as this is also on Darryl's door plate from when he was a child.
The keyring I've made is for Cheryl which I shall give her at the weekend.
That is lovely! I have never made a door plate. What a good idea, and so effective!

ReplyDeleteAwww Roz i just love the name plate it's great, thanks for your lovely reply to my email...lol...we have quiet a bit in common, have just emailed your friend Shell with the details of our SAL blog...lol....nit suprised you haven't had a chance to do your tiger, and what with Matthew who was poorly at the beginning of the week, hope the little angel is better now, right must dash school run to do then work....how boring !!!! lol just could sit at home all day and sew....not getting to far either with my SAL Love and Hugs T xx
