I've been SO busy!

Doing what... well I've sold dad's house, have I said that already? I'm not sure. Anyway. Dad's house is sold, it sold within two weeks of going up for sale! It hasn't completed yet though.
We are having a new kitchen installed in November. It's about time, ours is falling apart. It's been in the house since I moved in here in 1988, so it's time it was replaced. It has doors missing, our one and only drawer fell to bits, tiles just pop off the walls... so we're having new white units, beautiful black sparkly granite worktops, even a kitchen sink gobbler upper!
I've been taking lots of photo's as usual, and of course I'm about to upload them here at the end of this post.
I've begun yet another hobby! Well, more of a different approach to one I've already got. It's called Project Life. Click here to go and see what I'm talking about! It's a bit like scrapbooking, well it is scrapbooking, but a different way of recording it. It doesn't matter if the photo's are rubbish, what's important is that you're recording something. It could be how the washing up looks in the sink, how much of a pile of washing there is waiting... what you had for dinner. It's about normal everyday life. You put them into little pockets, adding journal notes to others, other momentos, up to you!
There are some photo's (taken from my phone) at the bottom of this post.
Ok, so on to the photo's...

More horses and a really cute little girl!

All these evenings spent photographing horses I think is finally helping me with my photography... well that and Lightroom 4.1 lol.

Ok, so this week we went over to Graveley again and the purpose for this evenings shenanigins was to get the horses jumping. I got quite a few pics... but some were either taken too early, or too late. Anyhoooo, this is what we ended up with. Incidently... the first pic is of our local Tesco's wall by the escalator. The little girl in the photo is called Emily, and I had the pleasure of photographing her with her friend and pony this particular evening as well.

The Tesco escalator photo and Emily!

Here are some of the better photo's I took of the horses etc.

Ears forward Poppy!! (Seren and Emily too!)

We had a great evening!
On a personal front. Dad's house is now up for sale with a local estate agents... I'll be sad to see it go, but with work threatening redundancies and those that are staying having to work for less money and less hours, it's a good time for it to sell.

Lots of photography happening.

I've been having fun editing my photos just lately. I bought Adobe Lightroom 4.1 (£100!!!!!) and I absolutely love it!!!
Here are a few pics I've taken just lately.

I love this one of Matthew. Nice and rustic.

 Rosie.

 Rosie High Key editing.

Matthew's first ever go on a horse/pony - he's not even been on a donkey!

 Desmond.

This little chair was hidden under lots of overgrown bushes at my dad's house. I remember when mum and dad bought them. So I sat a teddy in it today.

 Just a red rose.

Just messin' around with Paint Shop Pro x3.
I've been told that my photo's are taking on a retro kind of feel to them... hmm.

A little bit horse.

I went out tonight with my friend, Elaine. I've known Elaine since I was four years old. She has been horse mad all of her life. Anyway, we had a practise run tonight for me to take some photo's of her horses.
Here's some of the results.

This is Beau.

Lilly - smiling.

~ Our Wedding ~

We finally done it, we got married! We've been together for 13 years and I never thought we'd get married, but two days before my dad's funeral this year Justin asked me, saying life is too short.
We got married really early in the day, 10am! There were just us two, Darryl and Abby as our witnesses, and Matthew was Best Man, and little Elijah, that was it! It was perfect. It's my second marriage so the first one was for show, and this one was for us.
Justin was a bag of nerves for weeks, then it was me getting stressed on the morning of the wedding! Justin looked at me during every word he said, I got the giggles on the part where I'm putting his ring on his finger... oops. I had a tear as well!!
After the ceremony we went to the George Hotel. We had a drink and a lovely meal, then home around 2.30pm.
The weather was rubbish so no pics were really taken outside.

Here are a few of our photo's... Darryl took them... he's not too good on my camera, but we still managed to get a few good ones.

 Me ready for the off!

My bouquet. Beautiful. The photo's don't show just how dark these red roses were, accompanied by freesia's.

Our wedding cake bought from my Auntie Dorothy.
