I love ProMarkers - Keep it Sweet and Simple.

I Love ProMarkers challenge this week is to Keep it Sweet and Simple... and I'm not sure this is simple, but it's definitely sweet.
Its' a thank you card for a lady that has really helped me out over the last three weeks since dad has been in hospital.
I used an old paper pad for the papers, new flowers I'd bought from Wild Orchid Crafts and a digital stamp downloaded from Funky Kits Home of Adorable Stamps. This stamp is Grace Standing. Love her!!
The photo isn't too great, it was taken on my mobile phone.
See post below for another post from today.

Passion for ProMarkers - All You Need is Love

Passion For Promarkers challenge this week is All You Need is Love... ahhhhh... and here's my attempt.
I used a rubber stamp from the new Do Crafts Bunches of Love, and the red paper is from Lover's Lane, again Do Crafts, and the green paper is from a digital download freebie. Coloured with ProMarkers.
The picture below is trying to show the glitter on the flowers.

Happy New Year??? Not yet...

Without going into too much detail, it's not been a good start to the New Year... My dad had to have a bowel resection and it's not gone to plan... firstly he was discharged way too early in my opinion, and was brought back to hospital by ambulance 3 hours after coming home, spent the next 3 hours in resus, and then another 11 days in Intensive care, one day back on a normal ward, and now back in Intensive care...
So... to help with stress, I've been working more on my granny stripe blanket. I love all the colours, and it's getting quite heavy now as well. I'm about half way up our double bed.

And here is the card I've made for the Intensive Care Unit, thanking them for looking after dad.
It's a digital stamp, and she's called Verity. Click here to go to the order page. I also finally bought the gorgeous Martha Stewart Doily Punch I've wanted for AGES! The papers are from the new Do Crafts Lover's Lane.
This also fits in with the challenge over at I love Promarkers. Be sure to check that out!

I took this photo to try and show the gloss on her eyes, and also my "not bad" colouring of her hair. I'm not normally good at colouring hair or fur, but I like this attempt.
